Our project focuses on an Erie, PA native, Marc Brown, who created the popular PBS television show Arthur. We analyzed Seasons 1–4, specifically the first three episodes of each season. For each episode, we closely reviewed the storyline to understand the main themes, characters, and messages being conveyed. In addition, we examined the most frequently used words throughout the episodes to identify patterns in language and dialogue. Using this data, we created word clouds to visually represent the frequency of words, where larger words indicate higher usage. This helped us better understand which ideas, topics, or characters were emphasized in each episode. Overall, our analysis combined both qualitative insights from the storylines and quantitative data from word frequency to give a more complete picture of the show’s content. Our research question was "How does character evolve over the first four seasons?"
